There is no registration fee. However, travel costs and meals are the responsibility of the attendee.

AIRPORT
Oakland/San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport (OAK): The Oakland Airport is closest to Berkeley.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
The conference location is a 3-minute walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART Station and a 4-minute walk from the Residence Inn.
Public Transportation
The Downtown Berkeley BART station is located just around the block from the conference site, on Shattuck Avenue between Allston Way and Addison Street.
Parking
- Parking on campus is very limited. UC Berkeley utilizes the PayByPhone App for parking payment.
- Reciprocity for parking permits from other campuses is available as follows:
- Any valid UC Campus Faculty/Staff permit is valid for short term use in "F" Lots, subject to lot posting restrictions.
- Please e-mail your proof of parking permit purchase to prktrans@berkeley.edu (link sends e-mail) and include your visit date and where on campus you are visiting and our staff will create a guest parking account for you.

- Hotel Parking
- Valet only at a rate of $54/day. (0-3 Hours $20.00, 3-6 Hours $40.00, >6 hours $54.00). Key fob for vehicle required.

MEALS
UC Berkeley will be hosting the following meals:
- Tuesday: Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Refreshments, Social Hour Bites
- Wednesday: Breakfast and Lunch
There will be a group social hour on Tuesday from 5pm-7pm at the Residence Inn’s Study Hall Rooftop Lounge. Dinner on Tuesday will be on your own.
Please note that meals provided by UC Berkeley are not applicable to travel reimbursements.
LODGING
The Residence Inn by Marriott, conveniently located a block away from campus, has extended a reservation link for all UC partners, linked in the table below. To ensure you have a hotel room, please book it as soon as possible.
If a guest needs to cancel their attendance at the conference, they are also responsible for canceling their own individual hotel booking.
Note: The UC per room/per night lodging cap is $333 excluding taxes/ fees (as of 1/1/2024).
