Surveys
PURPOSE
We will be looking at aggregate data to assist with improvement in:
Learning
Evaluate effectiveness of learning outcomes (assess familiarity with training before and after)
Climate
Assess people's comfort in reporting. We see this as compulsory to implement a survey about climate within this course.
Compliance
Demonstrate the ways in which the University of California complies with state and federal laws related to sexual violence. Communicate to the UC Regents about targeted educational campaigns to increase comfort in reporting.

SAFE
Sexual Assault Forensic Exam (SAFE)
Your physical and emotional safety come first and foremost. Make the choices that feel best for you.
After experiencing harm or assault, you may wish to seek urgent medical attention to treat injuries, check for injuries that aren't apparent, get tested for sexually transmitted infection (STI) exposure, and potentially collect forensic DNA evidence that can be used for reporting. Some aspects of getting medical attention are time-sensitive (within 72 hours of the incident). You always have the option to contact a confidential advocate for help with any of the University of California SAFE Access locations (PDF):
